Y’ALL.
For this post, I’m not even going to give in to my penchant for wordiness. One reason for this is that I’m stuck at an airport with truly abysmal wi-fi (*cough*CHARLOTTE NORTH CAROLINA*cough*). Another reason for this is that I am TOO EXCITED FOR WORDS.
Why?
BECAUSE OF THIS:
Yes! It’s the final book jacket for Cavendish! (Including a lovely blurb from the even lovelier Sarah Prineas, author of The Magic Thief series, Winterling, and the upcoming Summerkin!)
Isn’t it gorgeous?? And this isn’t me tooting my horn; this is me tooting the horns (as questionable as that sounds) of illustrator Sarah Watts and Simon & Schuster art director Lucy Ruth Cummins. These phenomenally talented ladies have created a look for Cavendish that is exactly as I always imagined, and I can’t WAIT to see the book in person!
Also, you can’t tell this from the above image, but the final cover will have awesome special effects! I have not seen them yet, but I am assured they will be SHINY. Like FIREFLY.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Looks awesome!
Yay!
Oh, it’s gorgeous! My best friend and I had talked about how much we love your cover a few weeks ago. The rest of the jacket is just as great!
