My aunt Martha (aka, The Coolest Aunt, aka, she of Skee-Ball fame) has been trying to get me to watch Despicable Me for the longest time. I’m not sure why I still haven’t watched it, other than the typical, “I don’t want to spend money” and “I don’t have time” reasons (although I apparently still have time to play Bejeweled Blitz until my pointer finger starts cramping).
However, Aunt Martha is persistent, and the other day she sent me the link to THIS video, and my desire to watch this movie is now INSATIABLE:
I mean, not only did my innards implode because that little girl is SO CUTE, but also I’m pretty sure I used to sing a song exactly like this. In front of my mirror with a hairbrush for a microphone. And all my unicorns and horses lined up on my toy box along with their accompanying name cards.
If you think that scene is cute, you ain’t seen nuttin’ sista. Despicable Me is one of my all-time fave movies. Bring a kleenex…
It’s a good movie, but be warned…it has sad parts!
I think that you and Agnes must be kindred spirits considering your common love for unicorns. It’s a really cute movie by the way.
